Restoration 1 Ranked in ‘Entrepreneur’s’ Top Franchises for Veterans
Fastest-growing restoration franchise included on prestigious annual ranking for those who have served our country honorably
“It’s an honor to be recognized as a top franchise for veterans,” says Gary Findley, CEO of Restoration 1. “As a longtime supporter of the VetFran program, our organization is passionate about giving our military veterans a pathway to business in the civilian world. It’s the least we can do for the men and women who have served our country so fearlessly.”
Restoration 1®, one of the fastest-growing and most-trusted restoration franchises in North America, is ranked in the top 50 out of 150 in Entrepreneur’s 2018 Top Franchises for Veterans. This the second year in a row that Restoration 1 has been included — moving from number 132 to number 48.
To determine this ranking, Entrepreneur invites companies to participate in a survey to gauge the different veteran programs offered. From there, Entrepreneur develops a ranking of the top 150 franchises for veterans, taking into account each company’s veteran incentive, how veteran franchisees are attracted to and supported by the company, and how each company scored in the 2018 Franchise 500®.
Restoration 1 currently has 32 veteran-owned locations throughout the country. The total investment estimate for a Restoration 1 franchise can be as low as $77,950, and the brand offers a $7,000 discount to veterans through VetFran, a program that provides access and opportunities in franchising to our nation’s veterans and their spouses.
What makes Restoration 1 a worthy investment for veterans?
Earlier in the year, Findley wrote an Op-Ed for Restoration & Remediation that explains why veterans are the perfect fit for Restoration 1:
It takes a special kind of person, owner, operator and employee to get down and dirty each day and help customers turn what could be one of their worst days into a day of hope.
It takes a special kind of person to embody the grit and can-do attitude of a professional in our industry. It’s not for everyone, but I’ve found that it is a great match for a veteran.
Veterans are in a league of their own, and this especially shines in a business environment. They are ideal candidates for the restoration industry because their military background has perfectly equipped them to follow a proven system and accomplish it with success. Additionally, they’re not afraid to get down and dirty, they work until the job is done and they understand the importance of exceeding expectations.
