Restoration 1 Franchise is in Rapid Growth Mode
The nation’s premier restoration franchise hires new Director of Development to spur growth
Restoration 1 caught the franchise industry by surprise when Entrepreneur magazine published their annual Franchise 500 list earlier this year and ranked us as the No. 96 best franchise investment overall. This number was especially significant because of our huge jump — the year before Entrepreneur awarded us the No. 383 spot.
What explains our leap up 287 spots in the most prestigious list in the franchising industry? Leadership. When our new executive team, led by Gary Findley, took the reins of the franchise in 2016, Restoration 1 immediately benefited from the experience of a franchise veteran who was determined to make his brand the premier restoration franchise opportunity for entrepreneurs. The results have been extraordinary. In a single year, Restoration 1 added 75 new locations and more than doubled the size of our franchise network from the year before.
In 2017, Restoration 1’s rapid growth continues. Entrepreneurs who were never attracted to the restoration industry previously, such as corporate executives and Wall Street professionals, are signing up to franchise with Restoration 1 in droves. There are nearly 120 Restoration 1 franchises across the nation, and that number is expected to climb to 500 in the coming years.
To facilitate this growth, Restoration 1 hired Jason Jobe as Director of Development. Jason will bring his extensive experience in business and franchising to lead the company’s continued expansion.
“Jason brings the best experience to this job, having been a business owner and then working for a franchisor to help others own and operate their own businesses,” Gary says. “As we continue to attract a record number of prospects who want to be a part of our successful and fast-growing franchise, Jason is incredibly skilled to help them achieve their goals.”
Recently Restoration 1 has expanded into 28 states with the opening of new franchise locations in Michigan and Wisconsin. We recently celebrated a multi-unit franchise agreement with our first female franchisee, Beth Hendriks, who is opening four locations in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. This year’s rapid growth began in January, when we hosted our largest-ever training class of 17 new franchisees from around the country.

Restoration 1 is a low-cost investment opportunity with the potential to yield high returns. The total investment estimate to begin operations on a new Restoration 1 franchise ranges from $77,950 to $182,100. With a base franchise fee of $49,500, which is much less than the competition, Restoration 1 is effectively a turn-key business. Having zero overhead and no buildout costs or brick-and-mortar expenses makes Restoration 1 far more affordable than other franchise concepts in the $60-billion-a-year home restoration industry.
